The Nord Agency is Sydney’s latest interior design and styling brand representing Scandinavian furniture manufacturers and designers from around the world such as OGK for Skovshoved Mobelfabrik and Scagerak. We were approached by founder Sally Morrison, to develop an identity that captured the essence of the brand’s core values, one that celebrates excellence in Danish furniture design, authenticity and craftsmanship.

OUR APPROACH
The design focuses on a custom serif typeface, with ‘o’ being the focal point comprising of two intercepting lines with the apex pointing north. The design is a nod to the anatomy of furniture. The word ‘Nord’ in this instance means guidance, direction and a clear path.

The branded suite includes business cards, brochure stickers, email signature, style guide, tissue paper and social assets.

THE OUTCOME
The Nord Agency have made it possible for unique Scandinavian brands to have a strong presence in Australia. After a successful launch earlier this year, there are plans to expand their offering to interior design and styling.
