“We chose Justine (Malone + Co) after a lengthy process of interviewing and talking to many Web and Creative-Service companies here in Melbourne and Sydney. During this process we tried to learn and determine what type of site would be best for the Vision we had for our online presence and also determine what type of Company could help us achieve our creative and strategic goals within our budget. To be honest we found this process stressful and it did take us quite a few weeks to navigate the many businesses out there offering Web Build services; it is a mind-field.

As a startup business you are somewhat constrained by budget but at the same time you don’t want the financial aspect to limit the vision you have for your online store and overall branding. We all know how important it is to create the right image for your business from the outset. It is an investment. We were fortunate to find Justine through Instagram and some creative contacts.

Justine met with us in person at our office and in that first meeting she did a total review of our concept/mood boards and creative vision and we discussed our long-term business strategy in detail. Before meeting Justine, we had initially signed up for a Shopify site, but after our meeting we determined that we would need a Custom Built Word Press site to be able to achieve our future business goals for expansion. Having this guidance from Justine at the beginning was invaluable as we wanted to avoid opting for a quick solution then potentially face the problem of having to build a new site down the track.

Justine helped us work through all these decisions in a professional manner and we felt incredibly comfortable that she could help us achieve our vision. She was patient, answered all our questions and truly took the time to make sure the solution she was offering would be the best for our business. Immediately after our meeting, we knew Justine was the right fit for us and we engaged her immediately. Dealing one on one with a business owner-operator who is invested in achieving a great result gave us peace of mind.

To be honest, once we made that decision to work with Justine the process was smooth and easy. We had already done our mood boards and had a clear vision of what we wanted. Justine took that and ran with it, and within a few weeks she had implemented a mockup site that was perfectly aligned with our vision. She communicated with us regularly – either via Zoom due to Lockdowns or emails and phone – and the site was produced exactly within the time frame that was agreed; it took about 8-10 weeks in total. During the build process if there were functions that were difficult to achieve or simply not possible, Justine communicated the technical process in clear language that we could understand (not techno-speak!) and the whole process was collaborative.

Justine’s team also includes the best photographers. She introduced us to Nick and Nardo and they did a fantastic job in photographing and retouching our products. The shoot day was fun and easy and Justine popped in on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly. Justine has a great creative network and by using her business we were able to tap into these extraordinarily talented people to achieve what we wanted.

During the process of the Web Build, we had three face-to-face meetings; the last one being a training session on how to use the site. Once the site was almost built, we went through a few rounds of corrections and changes. Justine was patient and accommodating with changes and gave us ample time to ensure everything was perfect. The Process was clearly outlined in her engagement contract so we knew what to expect and it all ran extremely smoothly.

The outcome…In one word – FANTASTIC! We received so many compliments on our site and it has met all our expectations – if not more! For us working with Justine and Malone + Co was a great experience. Not only did she meet our professional goals, but with building our site, Justine has become a close friend and someone who we trust. Justine and her team are professional, patient, efficient and their creativeness in achieving the client’s needs is spot on. We cannot recommend Malone and Co enough.”
